Letter from Dr. Tommelleo: Second Semester/Combining Cohorts Tommelleo

Students will be returning to school on Monday, January 25, 2021 for a 4 day week. There will no longer be maroon and gold groups, as all students will be combined. Students will be attending school in-person on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.  Wednesdays will continue to be remote learning.

Liberty will continue to be diligent in our efforts to maintain 3 to 6 feet social distance.  We will continue to follow COVID-related safety procedures such as daily temperature checks, hand washing, required facial coverings, and enhanced cleaning and disinfecting.

Liberty Schools awarded grant to bolster technology tablet

Liberty Local Schools will soon be able to purchase additional tablets for the district thanks to a grant from the GPD Employees Foundation, which works to enrich the K-12 public education experience and support at-risk children and those with medical and special needs. The district, which applied for the grant in December, was awarded nearly $7,000 to enhance its technology offerings across the district.  With the money, Liberty Local Schools plans to purchase 24 Chromebooks, five iPads and one Chromebook cart.
